Atlantic L-Series Pumps' direct drive axial economically delivers a very high volume of water at low head through large diameter plumbing. For use with wide waterfalls or where massive flows are required. Axial flow pumps work differently than centrifugal pumps; centrifugal pumps sacrifice flow for pressure, while axial pumps accelerate water through without restriction. This allows them to produce tremendous volumes at very low pressures – so long as they are plumbed with the appropriate size tubing.
