LifeLine Pond Aeration Kits are the perfect aerators to maintain and keep a healthy water feature. Aerating your pond is very important; moving water from the bottom to the surface reduces thermal layering and helps bring debris into suspension so the filtration system can remove and treat it. Kits come with 5" or 8" stone diffuser discs to help keep your pond clean, fish healthy, and promote plant growth. Use weighted tubing to help sink and keep your aeration hosing at the bottom of your water feature. Aeration Kits LL-80K & LL100K contain manifolds to control air flow. Kits contain necessary fittings and hardware.

LL-80K & LL100K Bottom Aeration Systems

During the hot summer months, the LL-80K and LL-100K Air Pumps have an overload sensor that prevents the pump from burning out (which is more likely in the summer months due to the difficulty of maintaining the necessary oxygen levels - warm water can hold less dissolved oxygen). They are also a great tool in helping to reduce algae growth. These air pumps are used to help break down fish waste, allowing toxic gasses to harmlessly escape, as well as helping prevent the pond surface from freezing over in the winter months by disrupting the waters surface.
