Oase Vitronic Ultraviolet clarifiers clean and clear pond water with a UVC band light. Oase Vitronic UVC clarifiers offer powerful standalone clarification that integrates with Oase BioSmart filters. When properly sized, these clarifiers clean the green out of the water of any water feature.

UVC bulbs have a service life of 9,000 hours - about a year of typical use. At that point, output drops to a level that is ineffective at controlling green water, so the bulb should be changed. It's especially important to have a fresh bulb in the spring, when nutrients accumulated over the winter are at their highest point and other plants are not yet actively growing.
